    Collaboration on this paper with two of the authors is the result of discussions begun at the DISCCRS VII symposium. Lead author Sarah Kapnick, a DISCCRS VII Symposium alum, is a postdoctoral research fellow at Princeton University. Moet Ashfaq is also a DISCCRS VII symposium alum, and is currently a computational climate scientist at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
